Spinal Decompression
Nonsurgical spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine using an automated traction table that can be adjusted specifically to the individual’s needs. The patient lies fully-clothed on either their back or stomach while wearing a harness connected to a weighted cable. The machine intermittently weights the cable which gently stretches the back It’s a very slow, mellow process and can take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes based on the patient’s requirements.
Active Release Technique®
ART® is a highly specialized and specific soft tissue technique that differs from massage in that it requires active participation and movements by the patient while at the same time the practitioner is “pinning” down the affected tissue that is being elongated and released.
Graston® Therapy
Graston® Technique is accepted worldwide by clinicians, elite athletes and everyday patients as a trusted and effective treatment for both acute and chronic injuries. You can can expect reduced pain, increased function and range of motion. It also provides a more long term resolution of your condition. Rubbing the instrument across the grain of scar tissue and re-introducing small amounts of trauma to the affected area is part of the technique. Increasing the rate of blood flow promotes healing and remodeling of the affected soft tissue.
