Foot Pain

Many people assume that chiropractors are only used for those with back or neck pain, but that’s far from it. Chiropractors can help treat pain in many different areas of your body, including your feet. If you’re experiencing foot pain, we can help you!

Your feet carry all of our weight on a daily base. They endure an incredible amount of pressure while possessing an incredible amount of flexibility. Dealing with all of this stress can lead to tremendous foot pain and even crippling conditions. Luckily, taking action and seeing a chiropractor can help you obtain a pain-free life in a safe and non-invasive way.

Did you know that your feet contain about 25% of all your bones? To be exact, there are 26 bones in each foot from your ankles to your toes. Your feet also have 33 joints and over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments! Your feet are complex tools that need to be taken care of.

What Can Cause Foot Pain

There are many factors that can cause you to feel pain in your feet. Overexercising, working out on harder surfaces, or using improper shoes can all cause pain. But, exercising isn’t the only reason one might feel pain in their feet. It could also be caused due to poor form which may lead to misalignment, resulting in foot pain.

Some of the most common causes of foot pain include:

  • Hallux Valgus: Bunions
  • Gout: Type of arthritis
  • Tendonitis
  • Achilles tendonitis
  • Metarsalgia: Inflammation of the joints
  • Sprains and strains

Chiropractors have been trained to help people alleviate pain when it comes to the joins, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. If you find yourself dealing with any sort of foot pain, please come in to see one of our highly skilled chiropractors! We will use a variety of tools such as x-rays and MRI’s to ensure that we can create a treatment plan that’s perfect for you. Our goal is to get you back on your feet to a pain-free life!
